Reminisce about camping on the lake in one of our cozy, Adirondack-style cabins with their historic charm and relaxing views! Originally built by local philanthropist and businessman Charles “Charlie” Wood in the 1960s, the cabins remain a popular accommodation. The cabins provide incredible sights of Lake George with their large front windows and furnished wrap-around decks. Enjoy their quaint and homey lodgings, featuring newly renovated kitchens a king bed in each of the bedrooms all surrounded by authentic wood paneling.

2-Bedroom Cabin

Overlooking Lake George

Guests enter the unit by crossing over a couple of steps, ranging in number from two steps to upwards of eight steps, which brings them onto the wrap-around deck and the cabin’s only entrance. The reserved parking spots for each unit are a short distance away from the unit and may require a brief walk to get to. The propane barbecue grill is offset from the entry stairs due to fire code regulations. An outside garbage can is also located nearby the unit steps.

Inside the cabin, guests will find hardwood flooring, a couple of arm chairs, a cable television, A newly renovated full kitchen including a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee maker, a dining table with seating for six guests, a smoke detector (with visual and audio aids), a CO2 detector (with audio aid), and a garbage can.

The bathrooms each contain a shower-tub combination (portable steps and shower seats available upon request), a toilet (portable grab bars available upon request), a sink vanity with a mirror, towel bars, and a garbage can.

One king bed is found in each of the bedrooms. The cabin bedrooms also include closet space, a dresser, a couple of end tables, and a cable television.

Sizing of the unit may make for narrow room navigation.
